Short summary of Project
The Phase I (04/1997-12/2001)aimed at contributing to the efforts of reforming and unifying the basic education system in the Palestinian Territory, which had been operating under three different educational systems (Jordanian in the West bank, Egyptian in Gaza strip and UNRWA system for the refugees in the area).
The Phase II (02/2002-12/2004) built upon the experience gained during the Phase I and aimed to consolidate the achievements within the Palestinian education system in accordance with the MoE's Five Year Plan.
The Phase III (8/2005 - 7/2009): The Finnish support aims at improving the quality of education in Palestine through Human Resource Development.
